  Puerto de San José is located just one in a half hour from Antigua in  the Pacific Coast. It`s volcanic sand attractions makes it a pleasant place to have fun.   It isn’t the most idyllic place in the world, but it is a convenient spot to spend some time by the sea. 

 Lake Atitlan is a body of water in a massive volcanic cratering in Guatemalan`s southwestern highlands.  The lake is surrounding by the twelve  apostles of Jesus indigenous towns.

 Chichicastenango  mostly called Chichi by locals and foreign travelers.​Some items at the local market are hand-woven fabrics and women’s blouses in the traditional Mayan designs and colors, boots and other leather goods, and wooden ceremonial masks that are still used in some Mayan rituals. 

 In 1870 the present owner's great-grandfather started one of Guatemala's first coffee farms, Finca Filadelfia. It is still one of Antigua's principal coffee 'fincas', but now the old plantation home has been transformed into a first rate hotel and restaurant 

 Las Fuentes Georginias hot springs were named for the wife of a former President of Guatemala Jorge Ubico. 

 The hot springs are located in Zunil, Guatemala, about 9km from the city of Quetzaltenango and three hours from Antigua Guatemala.
