Learn Spanish in Antigua Guatemala at Spanish Academy Ciudad Vieja

Some of our host families are located in Antigua Guatemala, and some of them are throughout the Academy campus in Ciudad Vieja, as well as in nearby towns such as San Miguel Escobar, San Lorenzo El Cubo, and San Antonio Aguas Calientes. 

All of our host families have internet access, making it easier for students participating in our Immersion Program.  

Additionally, there are nearby Airbnb options and hotels for those exploring our Study Abroad Opportunities in Antigua Guatemala.

Guests enjoy three meals a day from Monday through Saturday, along with 7 nights of lodging in a private room or shared bathroom, hot showers, and purified water, all for just $200.00 per week for those students' taking classes with us. 

For travelers looking for only Room and board the cost will be $300.00 per week with private bathroom..  Living with a local family is the most popular option. It allows for full immersion and takes the stress out of meal planning. 

The neighborhood surrounding Spanish Academy Ciudad Vieja offers a comfortable blend of convenience and local charm, making everyday life easy for our students. Just steps from campus, you’ll find cozy cafés, relaxed bars, and a variety of international restaurants perfect for grabbing a meal before or after class.

Essential services are always within reach, including banks, pharmacies, pizzerias, pastry shops, gyms, and laundromats. For added peace of mind, a hospital is also located nearby.
