Spanish 1002. 

The purpose of this course is to expand the Spanish Language and focuses on pronunciation and communications skills using basic vocabulary and grammar. Customs and cultural insights are also presented. The course is designed to help students to develop proficiency in four language skills essential to truly communication language learning.  

Intermediate Spanish I.    

This is an intermediate language course conducted in Spanish. It stresses oral expression, reading, writing and listening while providing an intensive grammar development in-depth study of the Spanish subjunctive. Cultural and literary readings are used to expand vocabulary, stimulate discussion, and broaden understanding of the Hispanic world.

This course is designed for students to gain beginning-level competence in Medical Spanish that will enable them to communicate more effectively with Spanish-speaking patients and their families. The students will develop critical Spanish lexicon and language skills for conducting and assisting their medical duties. This course is also designed to teach nursing students how to do specific tasks in their professional career. There is some specific prerequisite to be enrolled in any of this courses.  Tuition is a little bit higher in any of this course as well.

Spanish II. 

This course is offered to students who have one year of high school Spanish or have passed the placement test. In this course students will learn complex grammatical concepts in Spanish and will continue to develop listening, understanding, speaking, reading, and writing. This course also introduces and covers the past tenses which are used grammatically and students will further develop their ability to communicate in Spanish. Cultural activities are presented throughout the course.
